Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Transport.
It sets standards for driving and vehicles including heavy vehicles, the regulation of freight

Federation of European Employers
(formerly The EU Employers' Network)
is an association for progressive employers operating
across Europe. The Federation was founded in 1989, with financial
assistance from DGV of the European Commission. Today it has members in

Freight Transport Association (FTA) represents the
transport interests of companies moving goods by road, rail, sea and air.
FTA has been supporting the interests of the transport industry since 1889.
FTA specialises in delivering safe, sustainable and efficient logistics by
representing the needs of the logistics industry at local, national and European level,
by campaigning to raise awareness of the logistics industry and by
informing members about the latest compliance requirements.
They provide training in alll these areas.

a vast resource of 71,000 publications with the ability to search and key words and also
filter by the type of publication, the official government status, the period of publication
and other factors.

Road Haulage Association provides information
and services mainly for its members (there is not a lot of information on the site freely available).
It operates on a regional basis with four Regions:
Midlands and Western, with its office base in Bristol,

Southern and Eastern, with an office in Peterborough.
